I’ve been part of graffiti culture since the late 1980s, shaped early on by Subway Art and Spraycan Art. Working under the name Din City, I explore composition, abstraction, and the energy of letterforms across a range of surfaces—walls, canvas, glass, and clothing.
My background in music feeds into my visual work. I think rhythmically when I paint—lines and shapes intersect and loop, echoing beat, flow, and cadence. Whether I’m layering type or creating something more abstract, I’m always searching for movement and balance.
Graffiti has given me a lifelong creative framework. I’m drawn to how it evolves, and how it continues to influence contemporary visual culture, both in the streets and beyond. For me, it’s not about replicating a style—it’s about building something that holds energy, structure, and soul.
