1. Eligibility & Originality

• You confirm the poems you submit are your own original work.

• You retain full copyright of your writing.

2. Permission to Use

​

• By submitting, you grant City Arts Portsmouth CIC and POSE Portsmouth Open Studios a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to:
  • Display your poems in public spaces, including Portsmouth buses, posters, and digital platforms.
  • Use your poems in publicity materials, press, and social media relating to the project.
  • Include your poems in future publications (such as a printed book or digital collection), which may be sold to raise funds for future community arts projects.

• Your poems may be reformatted for display purposes (e.g. font, layout, line breaks), but the wording will not be altered without your consent.

3. Credit

• Your name will always be credited alongside your work, unless you request anonymity.

4. Selection

​

• Submission does not guarantee inclusion. A selection panel will decide which works are featured. The panel’s decision is final.

5. Payment

​

• This is an unpaid opportunity. No fees are payable for selected works, though inclusion may lead to further opportunities and wider exposure.

6. Withdrawal

​

• You may request in writing to withdraw your work before the deadline. Once the final selection is published, withdrawal may not be possible.

7. Data Protection

​

• Contact details provided will only be used for communication about this project. They will not be shared with third parties.
