After graduating from the Royal College of Art I worked as a freelance illustrator and textile designer in London for over 20 yrs. I guess much of my work still has an essence of illustration and is always representational in some form. However I'm also interested in creating atmosphere and a sense of place, which is often best achieved by using printmaking or painting on location in difficult environments, perhaps at a festival, a gig or in a forest at night. I have shown in numerous exhibitions in the UK and abroad. I designed much of the marble decoration at The Sheikh Zayed Mosque Abu Dhabi and I founded The Omega Art School - Southsea.
