I studied a BA in Fine Art at Oxford Brookes Uniiversity graduating in 1999. Since then I have been expanding my practice through art courses. workshops and exhibiting in Buckinghamshire Hampshire Sussex & Pembrokeshire.
The main focus of my work is inspired by Prehistory especially Standing Stones, the Neolithic & the Palaeolithic. I am fascinated by the traces our ancestors have left on the landscape.

Working En Plein air in both urban and rural settings has been increasingly important in the last 5 years. The transient light effects and variable weather conditions inform my gestural and atmospheric work.
I often work in series and explore subjects in a variety of ways over several years. I am constantly experimenting with materials and approaches.

I am a member of Urban Sketchers Porstmouth and Portsmouth Printmakers.
