My work centres on people and the relationships that shape our lives. I’m especially inspired by my family, and my grandchildren are a recurring presence — captured in everyday moments that often go unnoticed. There’s great joy in watching them grow, and drawing them has become both a reflection of that joy and a quiet record of their early years.
I’m particularly drawn to those still, tender moments — the calm of a sleeping child, or a glance exchanged in passing. These are the instances that speak volumes about connection, love, and time.
I work from life, memory, and photographs, allowing pieces to develop gradually. I’m not interested in polished outcomes — I want to capture feeling. Shared spaces often carry that emotional weight, revealing something intimate without needing to say too much.
POSE offers me the chance to share this personal work and invite others to connect through their own stories.
