I’m a sculptor, draughtsman and public artist. I like to think everything I make is part of one lifelong drawing, only finished when I am. Drawing, in all its forms, sits at the heart of my practice, whether it’s monumental charcoal works, sculpture, or public commissions. I’m drawn to narrative—history, identity, faith—and to reinterpreting tradition in ways that invite people in, not keep them out.
For me, there’s often more art in making something happen than in the object we see at the end. The process, the collaboration, the shared moments, are as important as the finished work. I value material connection and human stories, preferring dust over data.
My aim is simple: to make work that connects, challenges, and resonateswhether it’s in a gallery, a public square, or a quiet, unexpected place.
