City Arts Launch & Crowd Funder

City Arts Portsmouth Officially Launched. Founded by a group of local artists and makers, and championed by the John Pounds Centre, our aim is to grow community connections, develop skills, and promote well-being through workshops, co-produced projects, and partnerships across Portsea Island and beyond.

As a collaborative organisation, we believe in the strength of teamwork, welcoming ideas and involvement from the community. Our launch event and crowdfunding appeal, held on Friday, October 13th at 6pm at Treadgolds Warehouse, featured a pop-up exhibition showcasing donated artwork from supporting aritists in our City Creatives network. Attendees also had the opportunity to participate in art and pottery workshops, contributing to the success of our crowdfunding campaign. Free tickets were made available on Eventbrite.
