I’ve always been creative. After A-level art, I continued to draw, print, enjoyed life drawing and numerous print courses, learning my skills from other printmakers and creating striking prints that people love to have on their walls.

My focus is linocuts with etchings, drypoints, collagraphs, wood engravings and screen prints. Currently printing at Omega Printmakers in Portsmouth.

An exhibition of John Craxton’s work reminded me of the essence of simplicity, which I took into my print ‘Relaxing on the Terrace’, an image of a friend sitting on a Spanish terrace.

I fit this around my job encouraging sustainable travel. When off work with a dislocated shoulder I joined USK Portsmouth, with sketches inspiring prints. During the Pandemic when exercise was encouraged I made prints of workmen, fishermen and cold water swimmers. Participants of annual cycle tours were gifted a souvenir limited edition print each year!
