We’re FatCLAY, a pottery studio and gallery based on Castle Road, Southsea. We support a collective of local artists and makers—with ceramics as our foundation, alongside mixed-media and collaborative exhibitions. Our expanding studio hosts open-access wheel throwing, hand-building workshops, and gallery space where each member contributes a unique voice. During POSE, FatCLAY will open its doors as a group venue. We’re showcasing the work of our member artists—ranging from functional stoneware to ceramics infused with print, textiles, and mixed media—alongside curated gallery pieces. Each piece reflects individual creativity grounded in the shared experience of working in clay. If you would like to book in to a wheel throwing or hand- building experience during POSE its advisable to book (there is a small fee).
