I am am amateur artist based in Old Portsmouth with strong links to the sea. Having trained with many talented local artists I moved down to the St Ives School of Painting in Cornwall to develop my skills in colour and texture , primarily working in oils . Drawing inspiration from my daily sea swims alongside a group of fabulous women , I endeavour to create stunning seascapes and figurative work set in coastal environments . My artwork is known for bold colours and rich textures. Each piece is a vivid portrayal of life, energy and joy crafted from primary sourced images , sketches and my own photographic records
