My work is defined by the layering of shades, tones, textures and transparencies to create complex surfaces and images that are both tactile and visually engaging.

I’m fascinated by the way materials work together and I use a fusion of diverse processes and techniques to create sophisticated contemporary artworks in two and three dimensions.

Painting is the foundation of my work and colour plays a pivotal role. I work intuitively in an abstract way using layers of vibrant colour, texture and pattern to bring a sense of playfulness and depth to my compositions. There is also a strong sense of texture and rhythm which comes from a love of music and emerges in colour combinations, marks and gestures that has become a signature of my work.

I have a Masters Distinction in Textiles and exhibit both in the UK and Internationally.
