Having lived in Portsmouth for 40 years Lois’s work echoes the movement of the ever-changing environment and features of the people in our waterside city.
Able to begin to fulfil her lifelong ambition to study art four years ago, Lois enjoys working with different mediums and experimenting with various techniques, Lois is equally happy using scissors, brush, needle and pen to make energetic and interesting work. Recently she has been exploring oil portraiture and alongside started to experiment making the faces with paper collage.
