I’m an artist based in Portsmouth. In my work, hands loom large — sometimes reaching, sometimes fading — always holding something unsaid. For me, hands symbolise vulnerability, intimacy, and the longing to connect.
I often hide keys and bones within the composition. They might not be immediately obvious, but they’re there — waiting to be found. These forms reflect memory, loss, and the small truths we carry quietly inside us.
I’m not trying to give answers. Instead, I try to offer space: a visual language built from gesture, symbol, and emotion. I want people to stop, notice, and feel something they hadn’t expected.
This work is personal, but it’s also about all of us — how we reach for love, how we hide our hurt, and how we hope someone will see us, even if we don’t say a word.
