I am a textile artist and maker working with natural dyes, drawing and hand embroidery to explore ways of relating with nature and the world around us.

I am inspired by the personal wisdom that can be gained from observing nature, it’s seasonal shifts, patterns of regrowth, irregularity and temporariness. This is intertwined with a process-led practice that embraces slowness and allows elements of my work to unfold organically, facilitating a thinking through making approach.

Drawing and mark-making is at the heart of my practice and I use it as an intuitive tool to create a sense of movement and flow. Marks made initially with a brush and ink are translated through a variety of textile processes and channelled through the healing power of hand stitch.
